I have no problems with happy endings. But we got the thinks-hes-dead-but-he-isnt thing that's been done waaaay too many times. Also, why did the Beast need to become a human again? Wasn't the message about how appearances don't matter?

Ray's death was just so...weird. Was the second start in the sky supposed to represent something? Is the sky heaven? So, Ray's in heaven now with his girlfriend? That has nothing to do with the story, and makes no sense. A BIG LIPPED BLACK FIREFLY MOMENT!

I'm gonna get flamed for that comment, but it was worth it.
